LAST FEW DAYS BEFORE HEADING HOME

We'll never forget 2012- it was a game -changer for our family. Our son was only a year old at the time , and we quickly realized he had special needs. We self -diagnosed him and made peace with it. It was clear that his well-being was our top priority , especially for the first three years of his life.

We actually celebrated his second birthday in Thailand , just before we left for South Africa . It was a bit of a challenge getting him to behave on the bus ride to Bangkok , but we managed to get him to calm down eventually. We booked a hotel close to the embassy , which made things a lot easier.
We spent our days resting and then heading out at night to sightsee because , lets be real , the heat was unbearable during the day. We'd grab breakfast and snacks, and then hit the town in the evening. It was actually the highlight of our day.

the next morning , we headed to the embassy to pick up our passports and then went back to our hotel.
The next day, we returned to Phuket, giving us a few days before we headed back home.
